DCOM125: Data Center Operations
The DCOM125 is a 3-day course providing an overview of operating procedures and policies that will help mitigate risk and assist you in operating your data center in a reliable and efficient manner. In this course you will also learn to apply appropriate metrics to support operations management, how to implement measuring capabilities and available tools that are suitable to monitor and track the metrics.
We will review Standard, Maintenance and Emergency Response operating procedures and the policies that should be documented within the procedures. The DCOM125 course is an excellent resource to help develop the customized procedures and policies necessary to operate your data center. The DCOM125 course content includes:
Metrics and Capacities
Monitoring and Management Tools
Standard Operating Procedures
Emergency Operating Procedures
Critical Event Procedures
We will also review natural and man-made risks that your operating procedures need to address. You will learn how the procedures should provide guidance to your staff on how they should respond under each scenario.
All participants receive a Certificate of Completion. The DCOM125 course offers 24 hours which can be applied to Continuing Education Credits (CECs), Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and Professional Development Hours (PDUs) required by professional organizations and associations throughout the world.
A syllabus identifying technical content discussed and instructor bio will be available for students to submit to their licensing organization.
